Message of the Organizers

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee of the 23rd AIAI 2027 (Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations) international conference, it is both an honor and a privilege to welcome the global Artificial Intelligence (AI) research community to this well-established and prestigious forum for the dissemination of cutting-edge scientific contributions.

The IFIP AIAI International Conference continues to provide a rigorous and inclusive academic environment that fosters high-quality scientific exchange and supports the advancement of Artificial Intelligence research across disciplines.

It has been held continuously since 2004 and has evolved into a mature and widely recognized scientific venue. Its sustained success is driven by the active engagement and scholarly contributions of the international AIAI community, which includes researchers and practitioners from Europe and across the world. AIAI  is an IFIP-sponsored event, organized annually under the auspices of IFIP Working Group 12.5 “AI Applications”. We are pleased to note that the IFIP AIAI Conference has been held continuously since 2004 following a long tradition.

Over the years, it has developed into a highly respected and mature scientific event, supported by the technical and scientific co-sponsorship of the AIAI community. Its sustained success is grounded in the active engagement and scientific contribution of the international AIAI community, comprising researchers and practitioners from Europe and across the world.

AI is a continuously evolving and rapidly expanding field, encompassing a wide range of scientific and technological domains. In this context, the AIAI conference provides an international platform that brings together researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry, enabling them to present novel methodologies, exchange innovative research findings, and engage with emerging ideas and advanced algorithms shaping the future of the field.

The conference currently holds an h-index of 46 (as of 2026), reflecting the scientific quality, originality, and impact of the research published in its proceedings, as well as its contribution to the global advancement of AI. In addition, the AIAI Springer Proceedings have been downloaded more than 3,500,000 times collectively (across all volumes) underscoring the conference’s broad visibility and enduring influence within the international research community. Above all, the conference aims to provide all colleagues with the opportunity to disseminate their scientific achievements and engage with the wider AIAI community.
